Heron Print by Cáit McEniff

Cáit McEniff is a Leeds-based illustrator whose work is influenced by storytelling, folklore and being outside. Cáit's work is also heavily inspired by mid-century design and the bold shapes and colours of pictures from that era, for example, the Polish School of Posters and children’s books by Miroslav Sasek.

In 2022, Cáit created a number of illustrations for The Hepworth Wakefield including this print featuring the heron who has made its home on the River Calder outside the gallery.
