We Two Boys Together Clinging, 1961, by David Hockney was one of a number of paintings that Hockney described as 'partly propaganda of something I felt hadn't been propagandised, especially among students, as a subject: homosexuality'. He titled this work after Walt Whitman's poem of the same name.
