Publication examining artist Toby Zielger's work, the functionality of landscape within painting and the perception of objects and form. Contains full colour images and an insightful text by Parveen Adams. Each piece in the series begins with the work of Thomas Gainsborough (1727-1788), which Ziegler then digitally alters and reduces, gradually obliterating any recognisable features, until he arrives at an abstracted image that will then serve as the focal point of his painting.

Published on the occasion of the exhibition Toby Ziegler at Simon Lee Gallery Hong Kong, 14 May - 1 July 2014.

Edited by Tom Hunt. Text by Parveen Adams.
Catalogue design and production by Peter Willberg.
Photography by Peter Mallet.

Hardback, 59 pages
Size: 273 x 237 mm
